If you're on the lookout for fresh and innovative style, head to Carnaby Street, where two top emerging designers from the London College of Fashion will be opening a pop-up shop at 1.16 Kingly Court. You can purchase items from Stephanie Hensley's "Made in China" shoe collection, a luxurious and high-quality line that plays tribute to oriental symbolism. If "price upon request" doesn't scare you, we think the sky-high Longevity series in peony are a worthy summer splurge (if you don't mind standing on a pointed platform sole, that is).
Womenswear designer Zoran Dobric, inspired by Canadian Aboriginals and West-Coast art, will also be selling his surprisingly wearable original textiles and digital prints. The abstract totem-pole-print shift dress is particularly appealing. Prices are more reasonable, starting at £150.
Regardless of your intent to purchase, it's worth it to simply have a gander at the works of these two talented designers, both of whom have just won a Shaftesbury Award for Emerging Designers).
