One of the capital’s major suppliers of art and graphics materials, this large corner building in Covent Garden is LGC’s flagship, offering a huge array. Whether you’re a keen novice or an established professional, you’ll find all you need in the way of fine art supplies, graphics materials, lightboxes, papers, portfolios and bags, books and magazines, Pantone colour guides, modelling clays and tools, spray paint – the list goes on. The shop also houses sporadic exhibitions and is good for gift items for arty types – think old-fashioned wind-up tin toys and Moleskine notebooks.

A haven for stationary lovers and arty types alike. Who knew that so many different types of paper existed? You'll find everything from premium felt pens to watercolour sets to Moleskine notebooks to weird novelty toys - it's the sort of place you'll pop in to buy just one thing, then end up spending hours perusing the shelves.

This place is a treasure trove for arty types and I adore it. As the other reviews indicate, you'll find fancy presents to great prints to bog standard pencils if you need them. If you like stationary, if you like graphic design, if you like art even, this place will just feel GOOD. I pop in there at lunchtimes sometimes just to have a wander about and get away from my desk. Staff are friendly and the building is unusually cool for the area too.

I have been here many times, everything from office stationary to all things needed for art work can be found here. The staff are very courteous. On one occasion i need a particular colour pencil, but was not sure, so I bought loads of pencils with similar colour and when home to match the colour and returned the rest the next day. They accepted without much fuss. They stock varieties of art stuff from all the famous brands.

The serious type art shop for those who like their professional options and maybe have a bit more money to spend. Their covent garden flagship store is very large, spread across two floors and filled with every type of pen, paper and paint you can ever imagine! I had no idea so many brands even existed! The staff are lovely and each specialises in their own artistic discipline meaning that at least one person is always on hand to give you some help if needs be.
