Along with its sister event in Bishops Park, this family-friendly night of fireworks and fun from Hammersmith and Fulham Council offers a children's display at 7.15pm before the main event at 8pm, which will be choreographed to music. A funfair and food stalls will keep everybody happy between, but please note that no alcohol will be permitted at the event. Tickets will be available to purchase through the Lyric Theatre closer to the time.

Absolutely awful. Wasn't allowed to enter because they stop letting people in at 8.00pm. There's no rational reason for this, apparently it's "council's orders". Security guards were rude, probably depressed about having such crap jobs. It's pretty stupid to turn away paying customers who are willing to pay £8.00 entrance fee. Hammersmith council clearly has no concept of how to make money, no wonder the borough is in such a state. Bunch of idiots, right from the top who organise the event to the bottom who have such a simple job of securing the park but can't even do that right.
