I was walking past The Drop this evening. Stopped to look at the poster on the wall. The doorman said, "Move! Don't stand there! Move!" I replied, "I'm not a customer. And in any case if i was a customer you shouldn't talk to me like that." He said, "Just f*ck off!" I said, "This is a public footpath. This is a pavement owned by Hackney Council. What gives you the right to tell me to f*ck off?" The doorman just got more and more abusive. I recommend that this venue is boycotted by anyone who doesn't like being treated like a c*nt.

@ Helen what a good review have not read such a neutral and informative review for a long time.
0) How often you been there?
1) how much did you pay entry?
2) what music was on?
3) did you enjoy the pub?
4) do not judge people by looking at them (general advise)!

Cheers.

This place is AWFUL! Don't bother going! We arrived at 10.30 and there were really crap bands on until nearly 1am. They had the volumne up so loud that even if the music had been good you couldn't have listened to it comfortably. When the DJ came on there were only about 10 people there - standing around looking awkward. We spent the whole evening in the pub upstairs and popped down occasionally to see if things had improved.. btu they didn't. Complete waste of time and money.
