Aiko Hachisuka

The work of this Japanese-born L.A. artist is notable for its focus on soft sculptures, such as her sewn-together amalgams of clothing and couches from 2007. The works here are more abstract, and are made from fabrics that were trussed, bunched or creased while the artist silk-screened them in various vivid colors.
