Fontaine's conceit is evident in the title of her installation, in which plastic recycling bags, filled with empty soda and beer cans, dangle from the ceiling. A stack of silvery ingots on the floor represents the total amount of aluminum in the hoard, and the juxtaposition of the weighty bars with the airy sacks makes a neat metaphor for the transformational state of being: a Venn diagram of Zen and sustainability.
