Time Out says

In this rather meta project, Horowitz and a group of invited individuals hand-copy Roy Lichtenstein's 1969 painting Mirror #1—the first of the Pop master's ongoing series on the subject, rendered in his signature dot-pattern style. The joke in the original was that Lichtenstein's comic-book treatment divorced the object from its reflective function, something Horowitz aims to reverse here, at least metaphorically, by calling each of the works in the show a self-portrait of its maker.
