With the help of the Public Art Fund, the Japanese artist has built a living room atop the monument in Columbus Circle. The elevated platform gives New Yorkers a previously unseen view of Central Park and midtown, along with the opportunity to look the statue in the eye, recline on couches to watch TV and admire Nishi’s custom-designed wallpaper of American pop-culture icons. Tickets to climb six stories to this home away from home are free, but must be booked in advance. (Elevator access is available for those who require special assistance.) Register via publicartfund.org.

Still not working on the third party website - get the error message that tickets not on sale when going through "on sale" link. Seeing as this is where NYP push you to in order to get involved, not good. Considering that it's been this way for over 2 months, not good at all.

Looks as if someone did not pay the renewal for the domain name! Ooops! A Shame - I was just on the site this weekend looking at the available slots!

it's too bad the site to get tickets keeps telling you no tickets are available when it indicates they are. The website host is terrible. Try again NYPublic Art Fund. Maybe you should extend the show to accomodate
