Who needs a rickety old space shuttle when we might be riding elevators to the moon one day? Such sci-fi innovations are explored in this exhibit, which looks at the likelihood of realizing these fantastic future scenarios. Check out an inflatable moon habitat built to one-third size, models of NASA’s Curiosity rover and the Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo, and the largest hologram in the world, which shows the position of 1,000 planets astronomers have identified in the Milky Way ($25, seniors and students $19, children 2–12 $14.50).
