Captain Phillips (2013) is the ship-hijacking film based on the true story that reminds us pirates aren't just the guys who say "argh" with parrots on their shoulders. Pirates are real, folks. We're sure Tom Hanks can confirm that with great confidence after playing the captain in question up against newcomer Barkhad "I'm the captain now" Abdi.
