Intrepid Summer Movie Series: Spaceballs

Don’t let “Snotty beam you up twice” during this outdoor screening of science-fiction parody Spaceballs (1987). Lone Starr and his pet Barf (part dog, part human) have to prevent evil President Skroob of planet Spaceball from stealing all of planet Druidia’s air. It’s directed by Mel Brooks, pre-crazy, so it’s obviously a hit. You might even feel like you’ve entered Spaceball once you find your seat on the flight deck of the Intrepid. And of course, “May the Schwartz be with you.”
