Description

Southpaw owner Matthew Roff converted a former mechanic’s garage into this 1,300-square-foot beer garden. Though the 12 draft brews skew Belgian (fruity Kasteel Rouge) and German (cloudy amber Schneider Weisse), Coney Island lager and Sixpoint ale represent locally. Inside, you’ll find dark wooden wainscoting and an oak bar embellished with subway tiles; in the garden, it’s all picnic tables. An outdoor barbecue and a fire pit are forthcoming—grilled meats and roasted marshmallows may be in the works.
