solid environment, family owned. It's definitely an up and coming spot. It could definitely use more interior decoration. Can't knock the hustle...
Not a big drinker- but good company resides here and bartenders (Ariel) who actually care about conversing with people other than their friends. Music is bit too loud from time to time and I question the selection every now and again. Maybe its that damn shuffle! Overall pretty chille d people and atmosphere for an after work drink. @ Edi, that lightbulb ceiling is pretty rad an d ToNY should have a photo of that!
Super cool venue, awesome DJ's spinning on Saturday's and very fun salsa party on Sunday's. I highly recommend 739 Lounge - great staff, drinks, decor, and vibe.
As the ladies said, great unique atmosphere, but that AC could blow a little harder in the back room... if you know what I mean. Sure, maybe I was dancing sexy spicy salsa for 3 hours. Sure, maybe it was one of those stiflingly hot nights where you sleep in the nude with a fan or man servant blowing on each body part. But are arctic temperatures too much to ask for to maintain my thermal comfort? Shout out to the cute bartender. Sorry I didn't give you my number. Didn't want to make the other patrons jealous.
I held a surprise party for my boyfriend at 739 a few weeks ago, and it was perfect! The staff was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend 739 to anyone looking to host an event -- you will not be disappointed!
739 is a cool neighborhood spot. I wish Timeout put up photographs of those bulbs! It's something that really sets the ambiance for the place. Great service and it never gets to over crowded, so I can mingle with friends without screaming my conversations. My only complain/request- I wish they stayed open longer and MORE veggie finger bites!!!!
Super lovely space! Ive attended a couple of events at the back, like the salsa party and the crown heights journal reading, which were great. The happy hour deals are the other thing thats attractive + the general friendly, cool atmosphere of the place! Definitely a great addition to Franklin Av.
