Nightlife hotshots Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss (Marquee), along with actor Danny Abeckaser, introduce their version of a “gastrolounge,” where late-night party culture meets small-plate dining. Items like tuna tartare and kobe beef sliders will be served in bento boxes; the exhorbitant cocktails run about $20. Still, the tri-level space is suspiciously clublike, with the capacity to hold 300 people, a sound system disguised behind oak and cork wall paneling, and the upper areas reserved for VIPs.

I went here to Avenue with a couple of friends to celebrate my 21st birthday and I had one of the best nights of my life! Indi Romero, my promoter, got us a table filled with drinks at club! My friends and I literally spent NO money at this high-end place! I simply cannot explain in words how happy I am to have met Indi! If you want to check this place out, contact him! I don't want to give his number out over the internet, BUT you can def. find him on Facebook or google!)

It’s always so much fun at Avenue! I went there last weekend and it was amazing! Nice lounge party to go with your best friends. They are very strict at the door (not like other clubs in NY!) so it was nice to party at a place that is 21+ and not 18+! If you want to avoid cover charge and get free drinks you should contact a promoter. I got in touch with Indi from Joonbug, who was super nice, I highly recommend contacting him (on Facebook his name is Indi Romero), He will make your night so much easier. You don’t want to count all week on going to a place and then get rejected at the door... and they make sure this doesn’t happen.
