The bar atop the Hotel Gansevoort offers a great aerial view of the Meatpacking District (it trumps the Soho House by eight floors), but it comes at a premium. Drinks are $14 apiece, and without an actual cocktail menu, loungers are left to order an overpriced version of their usual poison. The stylish executives and banker types who squeeze in here nightly can lounge at tables lining the stone terraces, or they can venture out to the crowded back garden, where low sofas and wooden benches provide additional seating. What they cannot do is take the plunge in the outdoor swimming pool on the hotel’s rooftop. If you’d like to visit, come midweek, when it’s calmer; the view is well worth it. Just block out the coos of older gents trying to convince PYTs to join them in the Hamptons.

I went to Plunge last weekend and I had a great time! They had good music and a very nice crowd :) This place had HUGE line, but luckily I booked the party through Indi at Joonbug. He cut the line for me and my friends and got us into the club right away :) thanks to him I didnt spend any money (he got us tons of free drinks!!). I asked him how could I thank him, so he told me to pass his name to more people! He works at the best venues every weekend, and u can find him on FB: Indi Romero

Great place ! Nice lounge party to go with your friends. Indi Romero, my promoter, got us a table filled with drinks at club! My friends and I literally spent NO money at this high-end place! I simply cannot explain in words how happy I am to have met Indi! If you want to check this place out, contact him! I don't want to give his number out over the internet, BUT you can def. find him on Facebook or google!)
