Thirsty (and thrifty) patrons get bang for their buck at this legendary hang, where the sassy owner serves 32-ounce cups of ice-cold beer for $3.50–$4.50 a pop (standard brews include Bud and Beck’s). When she’s not working the tap or covering your drink with a coaster while you step out for a smoke, the bouffant-topped Rosemary Bleday will cheerfully fill you in on the history of the neighborhood—she’s run this bar for 53 years.
