Time Out says

With its 15 Olympic-grade Ping-Pong tables, this sprawling club is one helluva place to grip a paddle. But the generically upscale, DJ-driven bar offers little else. Weak cocktails—like a Kazmanian Devil that turned orange vodka and prosecco into a sodalike serum—managed to be both overwrought and one-note. The standard beers and wines would have been fine for swigging between points, but we couldn’t find a sensible spot to rest our drinks while we played. With a multicity expansion in the works, the owners (including investor Susan Sarandon) see SPiN as a nightlife phenomenon with legs. But in a city with better-conceived boozy amusements like Brooklyn Bowl, SPiN needs to up its game.
