Heir to the Throne: Crowning NYC's Best Burger

I became a fan of the Burger Bistro after I had their "Elvis" burger which turned out a scary, intriguing yet totally orgasmic experience!!!

The Burger Bistro is hands down the best burger in NY state! I travel from Westchester for a burger, it's worth every minute. Plus, the owner John is a sexy beast!

These lists are always subjective and, usually intentionally, invite debate. And these lists SHOULD be and do exactly those things. I believe the subjectivity comes from something not usually discussed, and it is the TYPE of burger one prefers. People who crave Corner Bistro or The Burger Joint prefer more simple, almost nostalgic beef patty sandwiches, and are averse to the grandiosity of an even pedestrian 5 Napkins or Spotted Pig burger, nor the vaulted pedigree of the Black Label at Minetta. Next year dozens of food sites and periodicals will ask the same question to the same very large majority who have yet to try—or will ever get a chance to try—the options up for voting this year. So i won't vote, but appreciate that almost every month, without even looking for one, I'll be made aware of another 5 or 10 new burgers that I "must try" or become "iconic" after just 3 years.
