At last, a permanent cat cafe is opening in Brooklyn!

We have some clawsome news for cat lovers in Brooklyn: The borough's first permanent cat cafe is opening next month. We've been waiting for this meowment! The cafe will be located in Brooklyn Heights at 149 Atlantic Ave. (between Clinton and Henry), and will be operated by the Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition. All the kitties will be adoptable.

There will be a grand opening party May 6 (tickets available here) and after that the regular cost will be $5 per half hour to hang out with the felines. There will also be snacks and drinks available for purrrchase.
