Fourth of July is a great holiday. You can BBQ, you can go to the beach, you don't have to buy a costume or a present for anyone. You don't even have to leave the house if you don't want to. A Godfather marathon or golf or something is probably on TV the whole time (no, I'm not going to look it up for you). But if you do want to leave the house—at your own risk mind you; we assume no liability by saying this—here's one option: Festival of Independence happening in South Street Seaport on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4. Local indie-rockers Wild Nothing, indie-pop act Yumi Zouma, soul belter Lee Fields , "Cha Cha" singer D.R.A.M. and more all play for free. See the full lineup below. Happy birthday, America.
