Kinky news arrives this morning with the announcement that Fifty Shades of Grey will make its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 11, 2015, two days before its hotly anticipated U.S. debut. This year's Berlin is shaping up to be essential; the fest has already announced the inclusion of Terrence Malick's latest, The Knight of Cups. Meanwhile, last year's edition boasted the world premiere of Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, which has stood the test of time and made it on to many critics' year-end lists with a couple of Oscar nominations in sight.
