DIY spaces may be a thing of the past in Brooklyn, but at least some of them are returning, paperwork in hand, as fully-legal venues. House of Yes, the East Williamsburg performance venue that played host to various circus and theater events—not to mention many a wacky late-night party—was shuttered last year, but has announced plans to open a new 5,000-square-foot space in Bushwick this November. The new digs will feature a performance space, restaurant and bar.
