How to make the most of this year’s Atlantic Antic Street Festival

One of New York’s biggest street festivals, the Atlantic Antic, is returning for the 41st time this year with over 500 craft, food and art exhibitors taking over the streets of downtown Brooklyn. There will also by a full day's worth of live performances. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of the gigantic, festive event.

Where: Atlantic Avenue from Fourth Avenue to the waterfront, through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. 

When: Sunday, September 27 from 12-6pm

What: Check out the street map below (a bigger version of which can be found here) for a guide to all the stages where performances will be taking place, as well as the best subway stations to reach the event. A few highlights that you’ll want to hit up will be the The Youth Are Our Future live performance won the main stage at 1:15pm, a performance from Broadway’s Wicked at 12:15pm on the Community Stage, a free bike helmet giveaway on the Southwest Corner of Atlantic and Bond while supplies last and a kids carnival on the block between Smith and Boerum.
