Less than a week after taking a nasty tumble onstage at the Brit Awards, pop goddess Madonna—featured prominently in our best ’80s songs round-up—has announced a monster tour in support of her forthcoming-but-already-half-leaked Rebel Heart LP, kicking off in August and running through the end of the year. And surprise, surprise—she's headed for NYC, playing Madison Square Garden on September 16 and Barclays Center on September 19. Diplo sent Madge fans into a tizzy when he teased a possible cameo by her at his and Skrillex's recent NYE takeover of Madison Square Garden. That didn't come to pass, which makes this actual MSG date even more enticing.
Madonna may not be a New York native, but at this point, she's been repping NYC for more than three decades. Let's turn up and show our love. Check here for ticket info; the presale starts Tuesday, March 3, and the general on-sale date is Monday, March 9, at 10am for MSG and 11am for Barclays.
