Just in time for warm weather and blue skies, Greenpoint bakery stalwart Moe's Doughs Donut Shop has unveiled—drumroll, please—rainbow cake doughnuts. Just last month, we reported on the line-inducing rainbow bagels at Williamsburg's the Bagel Store, and it's clear New Yorkers have not yet had their fill of edible ROYGBIV. To that end, the blogosphere is already abuzz with these sugary rounds, which sold out on the first day they were offered.
It's important to note that these treats are not made with food coloring—they're a fusion of some of the shop's existing favorites including red velvet, sour cream, strawberry and pistachio cake donuts.
