Future dropped his latest album, Dirty Sprite 2, just a week after announcing its release, and the surprise move has already turned-up some interesting hype-generating promo efforts by the Atlanta rapper. In addition to dropping several bombs including “Blow a Bag” and “F*ck Up Some Commas,” Future did a five-part series of behind-the-scenes documentaries for Complex (see the full version here), and just last week, his Freebandz brand combined forces with Concepts NYC to create a two-day pop-up in downtown NYC, selling limited edition merchandise and signed copies of DS2.

Didn't make it to the pop-up store last week? Luckily, you've got another chance to catch “Future Hendrix” in the flesh. Yesterday, via Instagram, the rapper announced a series of free shows—Freebandz presents “Salute the Fans”—visiting four U.S. cities over the next four days. All we know right now is that the New York gig will take place Wednesday, July 22: More details will be announced via Future's Instagram/Twitter the morning of the show, so stay tuned.

Update: Details have been announced via Future's official Instagram: The free show will take place today, Wednesday, July 22, at the Highline Ballroom. Doors are at 9pm, and the first 600 people in line are guaranteed entrance.
