Global Citizen Fest—New York's biggest music fest with a charitable mission—just announced the debut of Festival Campaign 1, the first opportunity for fans and activists to start earning free tickets by completing online "actions" aimed at tackling humanitarian crises. Among the targets this year are poverty, gender inequality, hunger and violence against women, as well as improving nutrition, education and health services globally.
Some of the tasks include tweeting President Obama and other world leaders urging them to welcome more refugees, taking a photo of yourself at the Swedish embassy while demanding #JusticeForNadia and videoing yourself reading a sexist law.
