Hanging out in a café is fun, for sure, but the modern New York cat-lover is probably looking for a bit more variety when it comes to their summer activities. Well, they’re in luck. On July 31 and August 1, Purina ONE is putting on a Cat Camp at 201 Mulberry Street between the hours of 10am and 6pm. It’s going to be a furry, hot American summer.

During the pop-up event, Cat Camp counselors will lead campers through a wide range of activities including “climbing” where campers can scale an indoor wall, “stretching” where you can learn why the act is an important part of a healthy cat routine, “purposeful play” where you learn the importance of playing with your cat and “arts and crafts” which shows you how to make DIY toys and puzzle feeders to take home for your feline friend.

Adoptable cats from a Petfinder partner shelter will be roaming the "campground" throughout the day to interact with campers. And if you can’t make it, you can also watch the day's activities through Periscope on Purina ONE’s Twitter feed: @PurinaONECat.
