With only a few weeks of summer left, hopefully you’re packing in as many good beach reads as possible. Here to help you with that task is the New York Public Library which has rounded up some of the best novels set in NYC, and organized them by the neighborhood they’re set in. It’s enough to make you fall back in love with the city at the height of its muggy, off-putting, hot garbage-smelling moment of the year.

“Whether you're into the grit and grime of the seedy underbelly of New York, or the romantic adventures offered up by its most beautiful places, there's a novel out there waiting to give you a glimpse of what NYC has going on,” say NYPL’s Nancy Aravecz. “New York is one of those rare places where you can walk a single mile and experience several unique, rare, and special places one after the other.”

Highlights of the map include American Psycho (Financial District), Netherland (Chelsea), Super Sad True Love Story (Lower East Side), and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Fifth Avenue). Check out the full map below. The red icons represent novels and the rest represent nearby attractions, perfect places for your book club to meet and discuss any of the books on the list.
