You can now move into Mayor de Blasio's Park Slope townhouse

If you’re looking to rent a townhouse in Park Slope, you could do a lot worse than a listing that went up today for a three-story, century old home on 11th Street. The townhouse, listed by Brooklyn Properties, features a small backyard garden, three bedrooms, plenty of charm and is going for a mere $4,795 a month (very affordable!). As an added bonus, you’ll get a landlord who is most likely well-versed in tenants’ rights legislation.

That’s right, now that the de Blasio family has decamped from Brooklyn to the bling of Gracie Mansion, they’ve decided to rent out their Park Slope digs for the remainder of Bill de Blasio’s time in office. So no, there isn’t an option to buy.

If you and a few roommates can figure out how to get around that single bathroom situation (it’s the reason de Blasio gave for his frequent tardiness during the campaign), then you’ll have access to “an enchanting, landscaped, perennial and evergreen south garden,” along with refinished wood floors, a hand-painted tile hearthstone and exposed brick.

But if the landlord swings by, make sure you don't have anything illicit or illegal going on.

Check out some more photos of the former mayoral abode below.
