Thanks to Uber you can now take a car to and from anywhere in Manhattan (below 96th St) for just $10 or less. That means you can have a car pick you up at the Guggenheim and take you all the way to Battery Park for less than a Hamilton. (Or, in a few years, a Harriet Tubman.)

Just select uberPOOL when you’re requesting a car and you’ll be matched with a rider going the same way. Even if you don’t end up getting paired with someone you’ll still never owe over $10. It’s like your own personal, rent-controlled taxi. The deal is only in place for a "limited time" though, so if you have a bunch of errands to run, this may be the perfect weekend to do it.
