If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, there’s a chance you’ve fanaticized about sitting on the Iron Throne just once—y’know, just to try it out for size. Thanks to Gilt and HBO Now, the dream is real.
The infamous Iron Throne will be on display on the ground floor of Saks Off Fifth (125 E 57th St) at the newly-launched Gilt concept shop. (FYI: Gilt takes personal shopping to the next level by granting members personal access to amazing designer duds marked up to 70 percent off).
You can sit on the throne and take a bazillion selfies, but that’s not all. You can also check out other iconic props from the world of Westeros, including the Hound’s Helm, the Needle Sword of Arya Stark and the Unsullied Helm at the shop. There will also be plenty of Khaleesi-inspired wares at Gilt, in case you want to model your summer wardrobe off the Mother of Dragons. (There won't be any dragon invasions this time, you guys).
The throne arrives Wednesday, June 22 at noon, and will be available for your ruling pleasure for this week only.
