Kronos Quartet and Friends

Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, this revolutionary string quartet offers a characteristically cheeky mix of new pieces, unconventional repertoire and offbeat fare. Helping to celebrate are guitarist-composer Bryce Dessner (the National, Clogs), pipa star Wu Man, multi-instrumentalist Jherek Bischoff and two ingenious NYC student ensembles: Face the Music and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.
