In previous New York appearances, fiery young conductor Pablo Heras-Casado wasted no time proving himself to be the kind of musician you'll always want to hear, regardless of what he's doing. Here, in his first Carnegie Hall appearance as music director of the Orchestra of St. Luke's, he's got Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Schumann on the agenda; pianist Christian Zacharias is featured in Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2.
