Matthew J. Moffre has been a busy man: Not only is his and production partner Doug Gomez's duo, Drrtyhaze, releasing its debut album, Love Loud, on the Nang album on April 16, but he's also celebrating the release of his premire EP under the MJM moniker, Flower Girl (Regalia) on the very same day. So two pats on the back are in order—particularly since both records are red-hot slabs of house goodness, ranging from tough and jacking (particularly on the Drrtyhaze album) to deep and rich (that would be MJM's specialty), all touched by a bit of disco glitter and electro grit. Moffre's marking Flower Girl's release with a gig at Cameo's Cruisin USA bash on Friday, April 13, where he'll be joining residents Cousin Cole and K!O on the wheels of steel. He's also found the time to put together a great DJ mix—and here it is!
