Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival: Star Slinger + Teki Latex + Distal + Clicks & Whistles

For this gig, the festival is bringing in Star Slinger, the Manchester, U.K., remix king who's worked his sonic magic on an array of artists that takes in Deerhunter, Childish Gambino, Toro Y Moi, Washed Out and Kendrick Lamar. And there's plenty more: Teki Latex (a member of French hip-hop combo TTC) is a cofounder of the Institubes label; Distal records for the influential Tectonics label; and North Carolina's Clicks & Whistles makes music that fuses elements of Southern rap, juke and drum ’n' bass.
