[title]Good news: The long-missing-in-action Techtonics party is back, returning to the house and techno fray on Saturday 29 in the cozy confines of Cielo. Even more good news: The shindig’s reintroduction to NYC nightlife boasts a stellar headliner in Marc Romboy, the boss of one of electronic house music’s best labels, Systematic Recordings. The DJ-producer has a sound that ranges from rich and emotive (check out his 2011 remix of Terrence Parker’s classic, “Love's Got Me High,” for instance) to groovy and funky, and it’s largely the latter that you get on this fun new Romboy mix. Give it a listen—then head to Cielo and party down to the real thing.
