Directed by the filmmaker-provocateur Beth B—whose No Wave–era contributions to underground cinema, made with Scott B, include Black Box and Vortex—is behind this documentary look at the city's alternative burlesque scene. Featuring Dirty Martini, Julie Atlas Muz, Bambi the Mermaid, Mat Fraser, Rose Wood, Bunny Love, the World Famous *BOB* and Tigger!. the movie is, by turns, funny, touching and insightful, taking in themes of sexuality, liberation and more.
