Warm Up 2012: Floating Points + Jacques Greene + Secret Circuit + Hieroglyphic Being

It's Saturday, which means one thing this summer—it's Warm Up time! This edition boasts yet another rock-solid group of players. London's Floating Points is the man otherwise known as Sam Shepherd; he produces cool, sometimes jazzy, always groovy music akin to a looser Four Tet. Montreal's Jacques Greene has risen to fame (underground fame, at least) in the past two years on the strength of some wonderful garage-tinged house tracks on Night Slugs, LuckyMe and his own Vase label. The Beats in Space label's Secret Circuit (producer Eddie Ruscha and pals) plays spellbinding synth-led music. Hieroglyphic Being works the avant-garde edges of Chicago house.
