Zeitgeist: Felix da Housecat + Metro Area + Kate Simko + Clarian

This week's Zeitgeist bash utilizes a wide swath of sounds to pack the club's two dance floors. Leading the way is Felix Da Housecat, the Chicago dance-music pioneer who went all-in when electroclash hit only to reemerge with a buzzy electrohouse sheen. Metro Area's Darshan Jesrani and Morgan Geist play a top-flight mix of glittering house, boogie, Italo and disco; Kate Simko has been bridging the deep-house/techno divide for years, all while working on film soundtracks, classical compositions and more; and Footprintz member Clarian North stepped out on his own last year with the emotive EP Chemical Gardens on Visionquest.
