Basil Twist

The White Light Festival unveils New York puppeteer Basil Twist's brilliant take on Stravinsky's epic The Rite of Spring. Described as a "ballet without dancers," Twist's Rite follows a lone human figure on an imaginative journey. The music—The Rite of Spring, Fireworks and Pulcinella Suite—are performed by the Orchestra of St. Luke's, conducted by Jayce Ogren.
