Downtown Dance Festival

Battery Dance Company offers its annual free event. This year's participants are Chapter Two, Dancing Earth, José Limón Dance Company, the Dance WE Made, La Intrusa Danza, Compagnie Vendetta Mathea and SLK Ballet. The festival also highlights "Erasing Borders: Celebration of Indian Dance," which takes place on Aug 15, Indian Independence Day and features Vijayalakshmi, Rani Khanam, Rahul Acharya and Rama Vaidyanathan.
