Ashley Bouder, Teresa Reichlen, Jared Angle and Ask la Cour perform Barber Violin Concerto at New York City Ballet
The company highlights a new work by Royal Ballet artist in residence Liam Scarlett. Additionally, the season includes a variety of Balanchine gems—Jewels, Coppélia, Kammermusik No. 2 and more—Jerome Robbins's Afternoon of a Faun and Mauro Bigonzetti's Vespro. Performances on Jan 23, Feb 7 and 13 feature a dancer-inspired installation by French photographer JR, as part of the company's second-annual Art Series. Tickets on these nights are all $29; audience members receive a commemorative artwork by JR and an invitation to a postperformance party.
