It was certainly a weekend for rainbow flags flying high (see for yourself with our awesome photos of the NYC LGBT Pride March), but even our glorious Pride weekend couldn’t hoist this many flags, or at least not with such perfect synchronization. In one of the best dance events this summer, color teams brandished flags, assembled jungle gyms, spun rifles, paid choreographic tribute to Alfred Hitchcock and wired themselves with electric light in what creator David Byrne called the “biggest glitter cannon show of your life.” Sadly, it required an organizing miracle to get that many superstars and high-school students in one place, and the show only graced the Barclays Center this weekend. If you missed it, drown your sorrows in this flood of images, then start looking for the next great things to do in New York this summer.
