Many trailers tell you to "see it in IMAX," but be careful: Not all IMAX theaters are created equal. Instead of a phony converted screen, Lincoln Center is Manhattan's only legitimate option, featuring impeccable projection standards and a top-notch audio system. You can even reserve specific seats.

This eye-catching if frenetic follow-up to Tim Burton’s 2010 Alice in Wonderland brings back most of the same team (though Burton is only producing this time), and the same high-energy, bucketful-of-digital-effects approach. Mia Wasikowska returns...

There’s a wince-inducing scene in the middle of X-Men: Apocalypse that says just about everything you need to know about this sprawling superheroic mess. It’s 1983, and a group of teenage mutants walk out of a screening of Return of the Jedi, argu...

Does any of this sound familiar? Two iconic heroes duking it out over two-and-a-half epic hours. Angsty agonizing over collateral damage. Cameos from multiple costumed crusaders, just to make sure we’re suitably hyped for the next 10 movies. Lucki...

Absolutely love having a real IMAX theater in the neighborhood - just went here to see the new Star Wars, purchased tickets online the day before and got to choose our seats. I love going into a movie with a solid gameplan instead of having to arrive super early and scramble for seats then sit through 30min of previews...here, we get to show up just in time to enjoy the flick without having to deal with anyone asking us if we can "move down" to accommodate someone.
