My Brother's Wedding

Burnett’s follow-up to Killer of Sheep was the victim of a string of bad luck (overanxious distributors, a bad Times review) and quietly disappeared. Given the chance to revisit his forgotten film, the director smoothed out the rough edges; this new cut finally lets his vision shine through. Also on the bill is Robert Wheaton's short "A Little Off Mark" (1986).
