How, exactly, does one follow up something like El Topo? Well, for starters, you get a bunch of naked people together, cast yourself as someone called “The Alchemist” and then reenact famous Mexican battles with reptiles. Jodorowsky’s sophomore effort is just as tweaked as his debut, and we commend you if your cerebrum is still intact afterward.
