Bushwig
Bushwig, a two-year-old celebration of the art of drag at Secret Project Robot in Bushwick (of course), drew gender benders from around the city this past weekend. Celebrants in and out of drag took in performances, enjoyed refreshments and picked up plenty of beauty tips. For example, it seems that in addition to the traditional wigs and gowns, facial hair is an increasingly popular accessory for queens in the know.
