Celebrate Brooklyn!

Celebrate Brooklyn! Ryan Muir

The festival scene of New York City is—like its people—a diverse, exciting mix. In the city itself you'll find music all over—from River to River fest in the streets of downtown Manhattan, to Central Park's swingin' SummerStage. And then there's Brooklyn, whose music scene proves as hip as its populace, with parties like Northside shaking booties across town.

Beyond the Big Apple there’s more going on—Maryland and Philly have some world-renowned festivals (Deathfest and Roots Picnic being among the best). There may not be anything quite on the scale of Lollapalooza, Coachella, SxSW or the other fests to the west—but up and down the East Coast has got it going on, in all kinds of ways…
