The Monkey

Like the fabled jazz lofts of yore, the Monkey is owned and operated by maverick guitarist Dominic Frasca in an otherwise unassuming Chelsea building. You'll usually have to dig for information about what's going on, but it's usually worth it: house specialties include flamboyant guitarists, postclassical chamber groups and surround-sound presentations.
